Returns & Refunds Policy

Change of Mind

Please choose carefully — we do not offer refunds or returns for:

  • change of mind

  • incorrect purchase

  • if the product isn’t what you expected

This applies to all physical and digital products.

Damaged or Faulty Items

If your item arrives damaged or faulty, email jackie@thesimplebudget.com.au within 14 days with:

  • your order number

  • a description of the issue

  • photos of the product

We will arrange a replacement or refund.

Digital Products & Online Courses

Digital downloads and online courses are non-refundable once purchased.

If you have trouble accessing a file or course:

  • check your spam/promotions folder

  • ensure you’re using the correct email

  • contact us for support

We’re always happy to help with access issues.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

We ship Australia-wide.
International shipping is available for select countries (delivery times vary).

International customers are responsible for any duties or taxes charged by their home country.

Orders are usually packed and sent within 2–3 business days.

Australia: usually 3–15 business days, depending on your location
International: varies by country and carrier

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight and destination.

Tracking

You’ll receive a tracking number by email once your order is on its way.

Damaged, Missing or Lost Parcels

If your order is damaged on arrival, contact us within 14 days with photos.

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout — orders sent to an incorrect customer-provided address are not eligible for replacement or refund.

Digital Product Access

Access to digital products and courses is delivered instantly by email (or via your account).

Please ensure:

  • you use a valid email address

  • you check spam/promotions folders

  • you have a stable internet connection

If something doesn’t arrive, contact us — we will resend it.

3. Response Times

We aim to acknowledge all complaints within 3 business days.
Most issues are resolved within 10 business days.

If your complaint relates to:

  • an NDIS provider

  • a library

  • a school

  • an employment provider

…we may need to work with them as part of the resolution.

4. How We Resolve Complaints

Depending on the issue, solutions may include:

  • replacing faulty or damaged goods

  • helping you access digital resources

  • correcting an error

  • providing a refund where required under the ACL

We do not offer refunds for:

  • change of mind

  • incorrect choice

  • digital products once accessed or downloaded

(as outlined in our Returns & Refunds Policy).

5. Your Rights

Nothing in this procedure limits your consumer rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

We securely record complaints to improve our services and identify recurring issues.
